the location near the central plaza was convenient for exploring, and the simple breakfast and comfortable beds suited us well. the lack of fruit at breakfast was a downside for the kids. the staff, although generally fine, could have been more attentive to our family's needs, especially with younger children. Despite these minor issues, we found the hotel to be family-friendly in many ways. the proximity to various amenities made outings with the kids easy, and the elevator was a bonus when handling strollers. For families with older children, the nearby shopping and ATMs also proved handy. Plateros offers a decent stay with a few areas for improvement. Families seeking a central location and basic comforts will appreciate what this hotel has to offer.
